Miss Nyet Publishing, LLC, in its first year of existence, is proud to be present at PRLF in historic Printers Row in Chicago ( see directions below) on Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13, 2010.

What is PRLF?

The Printers Row Lit Fest was founded in 1985 by the Near South Planning Board to attract visitors to the Printers Row neighborhood (once the city’s bookmaking hub). By 2002, it had grown to five city blocks (on Dearborn, from Congress to Polk), attracting more than 200 booksellers from across the country displaying new, used and antiquarian books, and featuring seven stages with more than 100 free literary programs.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the written word and its support of literacy and literary endeavor, the Chicago Tribune purchased the Printers Row Book Fair in 2002 from the Near South Planning Board. Recently renamed to be the Printer’s Row Lit Fest, it is considered the largest free outdoor literary event in the Midwest-drawing more than 125,000 book lovers to the two-day showcase.

The festival is free and open to the public on:

June 12 – Saturday 10 AM till 6 PM

June 13 – Sunday 10 AM till 6 PM

RAIN OR SHINE

Along with the many outdoor exhibitors booths lined up along Printers Row, plenty of entertainment will take place throughout the week end and into the night (See brand new programming Get Lit After Dark) including live music, performances, story slams and more. To get the entire schedule of activities, please visit the website for more information: www.printersrowlitfest.org

If you have not had the chance to attend previous Miss Nyet events or book signings yet, this is a chance not to miss!

Chicago-based Franco-American author Delphine Pontvieux will be present at the Miss Nyet exhibit throughout the 2-day event to talk about her first novel, a fast-paced action thriller combining politics, romance, suspense and police drama into one gripping tale titled ETA-Estimated Time of Arrest.

“When 21-year old Lartaun is forced to flee his native Basque Country because he is accused of a terrorist crime he didn’t commit, his childhood friend offers him the chance to return to Europe under a new identity, but with a price, as Patxi is secretly planning a brutal event that will shake Spanish politics.”

There isn’t a better time to purchase your own copy and/or a few extra for your family and friends:

– The novel will be sold at a special PRLF price for 2 days only.

– You can meet the author and get your copy signed.

– A (very French) special present will be offered with every purchase (while supplies last).
